E4 is a British digital television which is full of entertainment for a younger teenage and adult age group. E4 has become very popular since it was launched in 2001; the reason why it has become very popular is because of its fantastic shows and entertainment which they provide for their audience. An example of their popularity and success is when The Inbetweeners was aired it had 3.7 million people watched in the same week. E4 has gained the focus demographics of 16 to 34, ABC1, although there were more females watching the channel, though their are a lot of male viewers. These demographics have very popular to market to because research suggests that this age range is fashion conscious, sociable, connected, heavy internet using, they love going out and tend to use advertising as one of their many information sources.

Channel 4 is a British public service television broadcaster; the channel was launched on November 2 1982 which is owned by Channel Four Television Corporation a public body established in 1990. Channel 4 became the first UK wide TV channel in time, it became the fourth television service in the United Kingdom for the television licence funded BBC's two services and the single commercial broadcasting network. The channel also has sister channels such as 4seven, Film4, E4, More4, Kiss, Magic etc. Furthermore there is a time shift channel for channel 4 which is called Channel 4 +1

ITV2

ITV2 is a 24 hour free to air entertainment television channel (mixed genre) in the United Kingdom by ITV Digital Channels Ltd. The channel was launched on December 7 1998 which was available digitally via satellite, cable, IPTV and terrestrial. ITV2 was claimed to be the largest audience share after the five analogue terrestrial stations, the channel is also known for its American programming such as Gossip Girl. The channel has other sister channels which are ITV, ITV3, ITV4 and CITV, the channel also has ITV2+1 which is a time shift channel and a HD channel.
